Romans 10:14-15 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
These two verses from Romans are constant reminder for me to keep telling people about Jesus. The Lifestyle Sharing training that happened in March rekindled my passion to share Jesus with people around me.
It was a Good Friday service when I met Kuan Jie's friend from college. She was excited to visit Li Xin Baptist Church and was delighted to hear the story of Christ's sacrifice on the cross and saved man from sin. After a light refreshment, I found the opportunity to sit down with her and began sharing the Gospel.
I have never seen the joy that sparkled in her eyes when she said YES to Jesus. It was not a rash decision. She took time to ponder and carefully examined her heart. With a great joy and excitement, she said the Sinner's Prayer and thus began her journey as a new creation in Jesus Christ.
The joy of seeing someone coming to faith in Jesus is indescribable. Jesus said:" ... there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." (Luke 15:10) I hope as you read this, you will desire to experience that joy.
April 2019, we have connected with 26 prospects, 3 of them accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
